McLaren driver Lando Norris has clinched pole position for the Monaco Grand Prix!
The Briton was fastest on the Principality’s street circuit, with home favorite Charles Leclerc of Ferrari starting right behind him, followed by Norris’s teammate, Oscar Piastri.
Speaking of Piastri, he currently leads the overall standings with 146 points, Norris has 133, while Max Verstappen is third with 124 points.
The reigning champion will start from fifth place, while former champion Lewis Hamilton will begin from fourth position.
The Monaco Grand Prix main race is scheduled for Sunday at 3:00 PM CEST.
It could be a little different this year because drivers will now be required to change tires at least twice during the race.
