The Green Shift Festival, an initiative by the Prince Albert II de Monaco Foundation, is set to transform the Promenade du Larvotto into a hub of sustainability from June 4th to 6th. Taking place at Place Anne-Marie Campora, the festival features three distinct thematic evenings designed to engage and inspire.
Evening programs and themes
On June 4th, “Welcome to 2050” offers an immersive journey into the future of ecological transition. Curated by Yasmina Auburtin, with contributions from Mathieu Baudin and Hélène Binet, this interactive performance promises to be both thought-provoking and engaging.
The following evening, June 5th, “At the Heart of the Living” delves into the intricate relationship between humanity and nature. Marianne Leenart, François Sarano, and Laurent Tillon will lead this insightful discussion in collaboration with Actes Sud.

Concluding the evening program on June 6th is “Music & Ecology,” a unique collaboration between art and sustainability. Tom Frager and Hélène Vogelsinger, alongside Arthur Lecercle and Magali Payen, will perform in partnership with Music for Planet, demonstrating the power of artistic expression in environmental advocacy.
Daytime activities and community engagement
Beyond the evening highlights, each day begins with rejuvenating wellness sessions, including mindful breathing, qigong, and sound therapy, provided in collaboration with the Kate Powers Foundation.
From 6:00 PM, the public is invited to participate in “Engaged Happy Hours,” a vibrant segment showcasing local ecological initiatives, live entertainment, and performances. Attendees can also enjoy sustainable catering by Camion Valentin and music from DJ Baloo, creating a lively community atmosphere.
Art and recognition
A truly collaborative project, the festival will host a participatory fresco, developed with Bureau Walter and illustrator Chloë Monti, allowing everyone to contribute to a collective vision of Monaco’s present and future.
Additionally, the Prince Albert II de Monaco Foundation‘s 2025 Environmental Photography Award will be celebrated with a special preview on June 6th at 6:00 PM, honoring impactful environmental photography.
This important event is free and open to all, underscoring Monaco’s commitment to fostering a sustainable future for its community and beyond.
