From July 5th to September 14th, 2025, visitors are invited to embark on a gentle, sensory journey through three exquisitely curated rooms within the Grand Apartments. Spanning 90 square meters, this unique exhibition offers a tender exploration of the woman behind the iconic public persona.

Unveiling hidden depths: A thematic exploration

Curated by Natalia Mlodzikowska, Head of Exhibitions for the Palace Collections, alongside guest artistic curator Marie-Eve Mestre, “Grace” #1 thoughtfully moves beyond a strict chronological narrative. Instead, it unfolds through four evocative thematic environments that reveal Princess Grace’s hidden depths:

• The Carefree Spirit: Discover her youth and free spirit in Jamaica.
• The Poised Daily Life: Glimpse into the graceful routines of her everyday life.
• The Devoted Mother: Witness the tender moments of her motherhood.
• The Creative Soul: Explore her passion as an amateur photographer and filmmaker.

Personal treasures and immersive experiences

Drawing primarily from the Palace’s rich archives, the exhibition showcases a treasure trove of unseen photographs and deeply personal items. Marvel at her own glasses, elegant gloves, an array of hats, and even her legendary Hermès Kelly bag. Visitors will encounter a stunning tapestry of roses, a tribute to her profound love of nature, set within a softly lit, velvet-draped space designed to encourage intimate reflection and muffle the bustling world outside. The experience is further enriched by a delicate fragrance of rose mingling with the soothing soundtrack of birdsong, creating a truly immersive environment.
