PhiloMonaco Week is back, running from June 10 to 15! This year, the event expands its program to bring philosophy out of academic settings and directly into daily life, aiming to engage the broadest possible audience.
A decade of impact
Founded a decade ago by Charlotte Casiraghi as Les Rencontres Philosophiques de Monaco, this initiative has become a highlight of the Principality’s cultural calendar. It successfully combines deep philosophical thought with approachable themes, set in unique locations across the city.
Exploring the theme of “Truth”
This year’s theme is truth, which will be explored through diverse subjects like family secrets, artistic honesty, childhood education, and even the “truth of the muscles.” Conversations will take place city-wide, from the Théâtre des Variétés to the Condamine Market, and at prestigious venues such as the Yacht Club and Hôtel Hermitage in Monte-Carlo.

Philosophy for modern life
Charlotte Casiraghi emphasizes the mission to connect philosophy with everyday concerns, particularly for younger generations facing a complex world.
Growing reach and inclusivity
Initially a specialized event, PhiloMonaco Week has built a strong following thanks to its outreach to schools and hospitals, and its focus on relevant topics like mental health. The program actively seeks new voices and perspectives, demonstrating that accessible and relevant philosophy can be both intellectually stimulating and profoundly human.
Free and open to all
Remember, all events are free and open to the public.
